Terms and Conditions

  1. Entry is open to all persons who are 18 years or above, are residents of India subject to eligibility to participate under the terms herein or the applicable laws
  2. The above contest is sponsored by Hindustan Unilever Limited (“HUL”) and executed by the customer (i.e. Store/Outlets), HUL shall not be responsible for any issue related to administration or operations at the store related to this contest. The Customer (i.e. Store/Outlets) may impose additional conditions, including but not limited to the participation being open only to members of their loyalty programs, etc.
  3. The period of operation for this contest shall be from 1st February to 28th February 2021.
  4. Any interested participant shall have to purchase Closeup products worth Rs. 150/- or more from the Customer to be eligible to participate.
  5. This offer is valid in select stores in select cities only. This offer and activity is not valid in the State of Tamil Nadu.
  6. Employees, officers, directors of HUL and their immediate family members respectively, advertising and promotion agencies, legal and financial advisors, subsidiaries and affiliate companies of HUL and all other companies associated with this contest shall not be eligible to participate in the contest. For purposes of this contest, “immediate family members” means parents, spouses, children, siblings, in-laws and grandparents whether resident of same household or not.
  7. The prize is non-transferrable and contested on a no-exchange basis. The winners shall be chosen through a draw of lots conducted by the respective Customer amongst all registered and eligible participants.
  8. This contest cannot be clubbed with any other contest being run at present.
  9. In the event of any dispute as to the identity of a participant, the entry in question may be disqualified, subject to the HUL discretion.
  10. HUL’s decision will be final in all the matters related to this contest and no correspondences otherwise will be entertained.
  11. It is the responsibility of the participant to inform HUL of any change in address of correspondence, for availing the prize.
  12. Apart from the entitlement to the above mentioned prize, the winner will have no other rights or claims against HUL.
  13. Any data given by the participant e.g. mobile number, email ID and name, will be used in strict confidence by HUL and its other partners and these will not be passed to any other uninterested party. However, such details may be used by HUL for contacting the consumer in the future, after this contest for promotions, surveys, contest communication or any such other reason for any of the brands or products marketed and/or sold by HUL.
  14. The decision of HUL as to the interpretation of any clause under these terms and conditions shall be final and binding on the participant.
  15. The acceptance of terms & conditions shall be deemed to have been given at Mumbai, Maharashtra, India and the courts in Mumbai alone will have exclusive jurisdiction to entertain any proceedings in any way relating to or concerning these terms and conditions or any rights, duties, obligations or liabilities arising there under the exclusion of all other countries in India.
